Welcome to The Tally Ho, a new podcast about the classic TV series The Prisoner. In this episode, we talk to production designer Michael Pickwoad who worked on the 2009 reimagining of The Prisoner.
MICHAEL PICKWOAD is a production designer who has worked on many classic British movies and TV series, including Withnail & I, Poirot and, most recently seasons 6 to 11 of Doctor Who. Michael spoke to us about his design choices for the mini-series, their deviations from the original, and the location shoot in Namibia and South Africa. His team was nominated for their work on the series for an Excellence in Production Design Award from the Art Directors Guild.
